“Just a little about my dietary lifestyle. I have done too many diets to count. Mostly low carb, no carb and they seemed to work but I could never maintain the weight loss. When I’m not dieting I tend to binge eat. I also worked out and it worked. But I reinjured myself and had to take time off and since then all my weight came back plus more. In May 2021, I went to the doctor and I didn’t like what I saw on the scale. I was a few ounces but pounds away from weighing a number I said I would never be and didn’t even weigh while pregnant. I had to change something and I had to do it quickly. My daughter’s wedding was in a few months and I wanted to feel & look better. It was by chance that I heard a coworker talking about her weight loss. I had to ask what she was doing and that was the first time I heard of 1513. It’s been almost 6 months since I went to 1513 & listened to Jill go over the diets. I chose to “shake it off” because I had no particular number of pounds I wanted to lose. But I would be happy with 10-15 lbs. “Shake it off” seemed easier because I work and I would be going on vacation while I was still on the diet. “Shake it off” worked for me. I lost a total of about 35 lbs and I have not starved or deprived myself during the holidays. My only regret is not knowing about 1315 sooner. I am extremely happy with the weight loss I achieved. My goal this year is to lose 15-20 lbs & continue to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I want to thank Jill, Amanda & the rest of the 1513 staff for being so supportive.
